How will your students learn/use productivity software?

Teaching first grade I will have the exciting opportunity of being able to introduce productivity software such as Microsoft Word to many of my students. One of the ways that I would like to introduce such software to my students will be through the publication of their work. To increase the ease of learning a new tool, especially since some of my students will be unable to write let alone type, we will work on writing poetry in class. Once my students have written their poems I will show them Kidspiration where they can create images to illustrate their poetry. Then they will use Word to type their poems. My students will then have an exciting finished product after their first foray into productivity software.
